Lionhouse Gingerbread Cake


Ingredients:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 c. molasses
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. ginger
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. hot water

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
2. Cream sugar & butter until fluffy. Add egg & molasses, mix well.
3. Sift dry ingredients & add to wet ingredients.
4. Add hot water & mix well. (Batter will be thin)
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Serve with banana slices & whipped cream.
